#FridayFacts. Overcome, rather than be overcome.
Too many motivational books and social media post paint a rosy picture of the future, promising great and glorious success. The problem with only thinking about the one long triumphal procession towards greater fame and glory, can be it doesn’t prepare us for the ‘valleys’ along the journey toward the greater heights.
Rather than sugar-coat what lies ahead, let’s realistically understand that along with the massive breakthroughs there will be massive setbacks and roadblocks. Thought never give up.
Instead, meet those difficulties head-on and seek to overcome them rather than be overcome by them. You’ve got this!
