Refund policy

SECTION 1 - RETURNS

We are so confident that we'll exceed your expectations that we guarantee it. Should you for any reason be dissatisfied, simply return your beer cube for a full refund. Please return all bottles, including empties. All returns must be made within 7 days of receipt.

To return your product, you should mail your product to:

Please ensure the following information is included so your return can be processed:

  1.  Your Order number if known (appears on the top of the confirmation email)
  2.  Your name and address
  3.  A description of the item you are returning and a reason for the return

Please use a trackable shipping service. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

SECTION 2 - REFUNDS 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Privacy policy

SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from the Craft Beer Coopery, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing. With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

SECTION 6 - SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

SECTION 7 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.

Terms of service

We are Craft Beer Coopery Pty Ltd ABN 43 619 997 189. NSW liquor licence number LIQP770017048. By using/purchasing from us you agree to the following terms and conditions. A is for Ale may update and modify these terms at any time without notice. The terms which are posted on the website at the time you place an order are those that apply to your order. For any questions or queries please contact us on 0457 528 124 or on our Contact Us page.

SECTION 1 - PURCHASES

The Craft Beer Coopery supports the responsible service of alcohol. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. By purchasing from us you state that you are 18 years or older. You also warrant that you are not obtaining alcohol on behalf of someone under the age of 18 years. If we do not think that you have or will comply with this term then we reserve our right to cancel your order and provide you with a refund.

All pictures on the website are for illustrative purposes only. The beers supplied each month in each beer cube will vary from month to month.

For illustrative purposes we may have used props in photographs. Unless an item is listed it is not included in your beer cube. 

All products are packaged with care and safety to avoid damage. If a damaged product is received please contact our office at team@craftbeercoop.com.au

We reserve our rights to accept or reject your purchase order, or terminate any accepted purchase order, for any reason and at any time. If we reject your order, or terminate an existing order, you will receive a refund of any money paid where goods were not dispatched by us.

Other specific terms may apply to certain goods. If any specific terms apply, these will be described in the product description field on this website.

SECTION 2 - DELIEVERY

Please enter all delivery details carefully. Inaccurate or misspelt delivery information often results in delays or non-delivery of parcels. If a parcel is returned to Craft Beer Coopery as a result of incorrect delivery address, failure of the recipient to pick the parcel up from the local post office or courier depot or delivery refusal an email will be sent to the purchaser notifying them of the returned parcel. The purchaser will then have 30 days to organise redelivery. If redelivery is requested the delivery charges and a $10 processing and admin fee will also be charged. If no response is received by Craft Beer Coopery within the 30 days from the date the notification email was sent the parcel will be deemed forfeited.

By default our delivery instructions are for the parcel to be signed for on delivery, unless otherwise requested. All parcels must be signed by a person aged 18 years or older. If no one is available to sign, a notice card will be left in the recipient's mailbox indicating that the parcel is at the local post office for collection or with one of our other courier partners.

We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place. This includes loss or damage resulting from delivery to unattended addresses whereby the sender has opted to have the beer cube left at front/back door or other location if no one is home. Requesting to have orders left at an unattended premises is at the purchaser’s own risk.

If a refund is requested for a cancelled order or non-deliverable parcel (due to not being picked up from the post office or refusal by the recipient) a $10 processing fee will be charged.

The accuracy of all information contained on this website is, to the knowledge of A is for Ale accurate and up to date. We not liable for inaccuracies of information contained in this website.

Orders will not be dispatched until payment in full has been made.

Material on this website is the property of Craft Beer Coopery and cannot be copied or duplicated for personal, commercial or public use.

Precautions are taken to ensure that this website and our data transmissions are free from viruses. However, it is your responsibility to scan any such data for viruses.

Our liability to you for any loss or damage is limited to the cost of the goods ordered by you. Our liability will be reduced to the extent (if any) that you cause or contribute to that loss or damage.

In addition to our Refund Policy, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
