FridayFact. Who’s in your Boat?

The sea is so large, and my boat is so small - I love the reality in that Chinese proverb.

Yet, we don’t have to be those who put out to sea in boats to get the message. For each of us, the sea of circumstance, of personal hardship, is threatening enough. And there will be times, such us many of us are in right now, when we are tossed about and stuck by seasickness as the storms swirl around us. So how do we stay afloat?

The answer lies less in the boat, instead, in who’s in it with us. Today I’m reminding myself not to go it alone but to cling not to mates. Though there are times I don’t know how I’m going to survive, I know my mates have seen me through storms in the past and will do so again now.
